The Check Engine Light turns on when there is a possible electrical or mechanical problem. It is important to find out the urgency of the problem(s), minor or critical, and to the vehicle’s drivability. The Actron PocketScan Plus OBD II Code Reader with Urgency Indicator gives an immediate recommendation of its urgency which can save you time and money. The PocketScan Plus has four (4) easy to reference color coded severity levels, from immediate to no trouble codes, and allows one to easily review and erase codes from the vehicles computer. This scanner is not only user-friendly, with three (3) large buttons, but also compact. It easily attaches to the vehicle’s OBD II port and displays the error code(s) on its professional size backlit display. There is also a convenient battery backup system which allows for continued reviewing once away from the vehicle.

Yellow: Repair within a few days (five days maximum)

Green: No trouble codes present

Erase trouble code(s) and turn off the check engine light

Auto-Link (automatically links to vehicle computer when connected to vehicle port)

Saves data: Optional Battery feature allows user to retain and review the information even if not connected to vehicle
